When the boot encounters a grub rescue> problem solution
After the computer has installed Windows and Linux dual systems, if a disk is removed from the Windows system, it will cause the system to not find a boot at the next boot and the Grub rescue> interface appears.
List all partitions through the LS command, and then use the command (replace X, y with the numeric code number for the listed partition):
LS (hdx,msdosy)
Locate all the identifiable file system partitions, and then use the command:
LS (hdx,msdosy)/
List the contents of the partition, locate the partition that contains the grub/ folder, remember (HDA,MSDOSB), A, B is the number of the partition, and then set:
Set ROOT=HDA,MSDOSB
set prefix= (HDA,MSDOSB)/grub
insmod normal
Normal
Go to Normal mode and choose Linux system startup. Execute at Terminal:
$ sudo update-grub
$ sudo grub-install/dev/sda
Complete.
