Where does CIO's enthusiasm come from?
There must be enthusiasm, motivation, and passion for daily work. Only in this way can we maintain efficient work efficiency. But the fact is that not everyone can find the beginning of their career.
There is such a woman who has a steady stream of enthusiasm for it. According to her, her passion stems from the family, which was inspired by family businesses. When she does not go to school, she will be busy with her automation and lighting design business, including software development. Before she moved into it, she had been an accountant, and this work eventually led her to enter Fresenius Medical Care, where she regained her passion for it, especially the application of technologies to improve people's lives. In just two years, she was appointed as the national IT Director, managing IT systems across more than 300 outlets and more than 2000 out-of-office medical facilities in feusen.
Prior to her appointment as ctca's CIO in April, she served as Chief Information Officer and vice president of tennett medical tenet healthcare northeast region. Kristin Darby was interviewed by techtarget a few days ago.
Q: I want to start with how you become a problem. What inspires your interest in it?
Kristin Darby: I think my initial interest has been stimulated during my growth. My family has a family of enterprises whose main business is lighting design in the construction industry. We have been involved in Home Automation business for a long time. Therefore, as I grew up, I went to work after school and did a lot of home automation work, and participated in a startup company-a software development company we established focused on lighting design [Company]. so this should be my first interest in information technology. But I did not continue with this interest, but entered the accounting industry at the beginning of my career, but always in the medical industry.
Therefore, I first worked in an accounting firm (Certified Public Accountants) that focused on physician practice management, and then joined ferenius medical, where I spent 12 years, but I started accounting at the beginning, that is, here I have transitioned to the IT industry. This is a great process.
Over the past 20 years, I have been driving changes in the healthcare industry, both outpatient and medical service providers. About seven years ago, I switched to the CIO role in another company, and found my passion for work and associations with patients.
Health information may be in a few industries, allowing you to see your work. You actually create innovative things to influence people's lives. This makes sense for me and my team.
