Everything seems to be speeding up compared with the past. We are witnessing the development of the world and are using unprecedented ways like Google and Wikipedia to get information. All of this leads us to ask ourselves, where will the future of web design go?

Although it is not easy to predict the future, we can give some general advice and predict the direction of things. In view of the current evolution of the design world, we are beginning to see the bright future of the road and the emergence of new ideas. Those of us who are designers who follow these trends will be able to stand out and become the overlord of a new era of technology.

The growth of the user experience

As the social media generation grows, we are seeing a lot more web users than ever before. Previous pages are static pages, based on static data text and pictures. Today, we see a standard Web application that incorporates more complex content and forms.

This is reflected in the increase in network user participation. Now more than ever, people need to interact with the Web. Social networking sites, blog reviews, online chats, and photo-sharing sites are just a few of them.

Future pages will support users to further increase interaction. We can imagine that users create pages of their own style and concept because they want to control how the site is created. Today, most browsers can support a wide variety of font sizes and font styles. So when can we let users master the ability to adjust the size of the page, and difficult to read the text tag color?

Most people agree that the change in the norm will have a powerful double effect. We can see that as more users visit and contribute to the Web, web designers need little interaction and artists can focus on something they love more-art!

The rise of cloud computing

As a full-time web designer, we are very familiar with web hosting services. Some are great, some are more difficult, but in any case, every online site requires a certain form of hosting. The most common is to lease space on a real or virtual server that might be somewhere in the world.

As cloud computing grows and becomes more common, we will see the Web page "hosted in the cloud." This means that the server cluster will save Web site information and run programs in the background, and visitors will benefit from the increased speed of access.

For product design, this also provides a space for stronger new tools. No doubt based on these powerful computing capabilities, developers will quickly create browser-based Photoshop or similar illustrator tools. For the first time in 10 years, this process will subvert the entire web design industry.

Value of dynamic forms

We've seen the wonders of Ajax forms when they dynamically verify that your password or email address is correct, but most people don't realize that this is what the backstage development needs to create. Using open source scripting such as jquery, creating these effects is becoming easier.

So how easy is it to fill out a form on the next page? I can imagine that the registration process is much simpler than what we see now. When people log on to Google or Facebook accounts, they can even automatically fill in a blank entry box for their personal data.

This process brings a deeper meaning to the interaction, which is that in most cases we will not need to log on to the page. As OAuth is gradually recognised, many applications provide a user profile page through Facebook Connect and Twitter connect. This is easy because you don't need to save passwords on other servers, and you can log on to a Web site with very little clicks.

The trend of Dynamic web design is to allow further customization by connecting all of your accounts as much as possible. As we can imagine, more HTML or JavaScript attributes will be created, working with the data, and applied to Web applications.

What's more interesting is how CSS will evolve over the next few years. The specification for CSS 3 already has a sign of success because most browsers will support a new selector. But how far are we from using code to create dynamic pictures or colors?

This is the most exciting part of the design industry, where new inventions can be seen everywhere and new things are created or put into use every month. Momentum will continue to evolve, and over time, we will see digital technology make a huge leap forward.

Keep an eye out for recent articles that discuss the direction of future Web pages, it's not easy to predict exactly what the web design will look like in 5 years, but as soon as we get into the first quarter of 2011, we'll be able to see it quickly and clearly.
