Worked hard in PowerPoint to make the presentation, but on the other computer it was not able to play because PowerPoint software was not installed or PowerPoint failed, and a sound was inserted into the PowerPoint document and could not be found on other computers. Set the beautiful font, to other computers but changed. So what is the solution to this problem?
Packaging You can save everything about your presentation, even if you have linked files or TrueType fonts. The resulting packaged file Pngsetup.exe (all packaged file names are then copied to the other computer for unpack).
The specific packaging process is as follows:
① Open the presentation you want to package, and then execute the File/pack command, the Pack and Go Wizard dialog box pops up.
② Click the Next button to go to the Select Packaged Files dialog box, which has two options, we can select other presentations through browse, and allow you to package multiple files at once.
③ Select the file, click the Next button, go to the "Select Target" wizard dialog box, the system defaults to the floppy disk drive, but we recommend that you select the hard drive for access, not only fast, but also not easy to fail, when needed, can be copied to the floppy disk.
④ Click the Next button to go to the Links dialog box, especially to note that the linked file must be packaged. It is best not to choose "Embed TrueType fonts", because the size of the packaged file can be greatly increased by the selected words. Some friends may use some special fonts in order to be beautiful, so it is advisable to use the form of the picture instead of applying the font directly.
⑤ Click the Next button to enter the Player dialog box, and if you want to play the presentation on a machine that does not have PowerPoint installed, select the "Windows95 or NT Player" item.
⑥ Click the Next button to go to the Finish dialog box, click the Finish button to start the packaging process, after the packaging work, you will be prompted to package success, click OK to complete the package work.
To play the packaged presentation on another computer, you must unpack the resulting packaged file to the destination computer.
The specific unpack process is as follows:
① Double-click the Pngsetup.exe program, the program will display a dialog box, asked to choose the location of the file after the unpack.
② Enter the destination folder, click OK, the system prompts the user, if there is a file with the same name in the destination folder, the unpack file overwrites it, and click Yes.
③ start the unpack process at this point, and when you're done, you'll be given a "presentation has been installed successfully, run slide show now," and click Yes to play.
