Windows 7 system Stability has been greatly improved, but the occasional blue screen, black screen, crash or inevitable, Microsoft has been issuing a variety of repair patches for this, today we saw a hot fix patch KB2528614.
Microsoft says Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 systems occasionally have intermittent crashes (blue screens) and give the following Stop error message:
Stop 0x0000007E (parameter 1, parameter 2, parameter 3, parameter 4)
System_thread_exception_not_handled
Note: Four parameters differ on different machines.
Microsoft explained that the problem stems from the error of accessing the null lease handle after the leased spin lock (lease spinlock) release. This error usually occurs on the file server, but does not occur when SMB 2 is turned on.
As with previous hot fixes, KB2528614 is not publicly downloaded, but is only available to users who encounter this particular problem. If you encounter a 0x0000007e blue screen error while using Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, try this patch, but be aware that there are many reasons for 0x0000007e error, this patch is not omnipotent.
