Virus behavior:
This is a set of IRC backdoor, worm function in one, through network sharing and operating system vulnerabilities (ms03-026, ms02-061, ms03-007, ms04-011, etc.) for the transmission of viruses. The virus attempts to log into the target system via a weak password. The virus also backdoor the infected computer to receive instructions from the attacker, and then connects a particular IRC server to notify the attacker of the existence of the virus. The virus scans the network segment of the machine and guesses the shared password, consuming a lot of network bandwidth resources, easy to cause LAN block. It receives instructions from an attacker through an IRC server, such as installing/uninstalling the back door, downloading and running files, ending a process, running a proxy server, stealing the account of a popular game, DOS (denial of service) attacks on a given IP, and so on. The variant will also release and install a driver module, Rdriv.sys (TROJ.ROOTKIT.L), which is used to hide the 445 port so that the virus master will not be found by the network firewall when it accesses the port. At the same time, the virus hides its own processes and makes them disappear from Task Manager. Because the virus uses a highly hidden technology, so the user is difficult to detect after the recruit, eventually become a network of zombies, hackers are completely manipulated.
1, copy itself to the following directory
%systemroot%\extel.exe
2. Release the following driver files
Rdriv.sys (for hidden processes, and 445 ports)
3, add the following services:
Externtelecom
For each boot, start itself
4, through IRC login server, accept hacker control, control command as follows:
