How to Set wireless network sharing

1. Enter "network and sharing center" from the network connection ID or control panel in the lower-right corner, and select "Change adapter configuration" in the left-side menu"

2. Find the connected local connection, and right-click the menu bar and select "properties ".

3. In the properties pop-up window, find the "share" tab and check "allow others to share Internet connections ".Note thatIf there is only one network, the sharing tab does not exist, so you can temporarily enable the wireless network when setting it to ensure smooth sharing.

4. Go back to "change adapter Settings", find "wireless network connection", right-click the menu bar, and select "properties"

5. On the "network" tab, find "TCP/IPv4" and click Properties.

   Then, in the Properties window of the pop-up window,Change the IP Address: IP: 192.168.0.1 subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1 preferred DNS server: 192.168.0.1 backup do not fill in and click OK.

6. All the above operations are performed on the host. This step is to set the IP address for the extension. Steps 5 and 6 are the same, but the IP address is different.The extension also changes the IPv4 address in the wireless Nic attribute. Different from the host, the IP address must be 192.168.0.x (X can be any 0 ~ 255). Other values are set to be the same as those of the host..

7. After the above settings are complete, you can connect to the Internet via wireless extension. Of course, you can use the host. The extension IP address is the IP address set in step 6th. However, if the connection fails at this time, it may be because the ICS service is not enabled. Follow the steps in the next section to perform the operation.

ICS Service Startup settings

1. On the desktop, right-click "computer" and select "manage" from the drop-down menu"

2. In the left-side menu of the "Computer Management" window, select "services" under "services and applications", and find internetconnectionsharing (ICS) in the service list in the middle)

3. Right-click the selected ICS Service and choose Properties from the menu bar"

4. On the "General" tab of the Properties window, select "automatic" as the Startup Type and click "start"

5. If you are prompted that some services that are dependent on ICS cannot be started, click the "dependency" tab in the property to locate the four services in the Service Management list, set it to the automatic Startup type as before, and click "start" to start the service. If the service cannot be enabled, continue searching for the "dependency" service of the service, you cannot enable the ICS service until all four services that are dependent on ICs are enabled.
