Users of the Win7 system sometimes find that some hard drive icons do not display properly when they restore the system's default window interface. Typically, you can resolve this problem by simply emptying and rebuilding the icon cache and then restarting the system. If the law is still ineffective, it is recommended that you try it using the methods described below.
Open any Windows window first, then click the menu organization → folder and search Options command to open the View tab of the Folder Options dialog box, and then check the "Show hidden files, folders and drives" Radio box and uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files" checkbox. Click the OK button to display all files with hidden attributes, and then open the partition root directory where a hard disk icon does not display properly (in this case, the C-packing directory); Finally, the INF format configuration file "Autorun.inf" in the C-packing directory is deleted, and the system can be restarted.
Tips:
How to delete and reconstruct the icon cache in the Win7 system displays all files with hidden attributes, then opens the "c:userssyhlappdatalocal" directory (C disk is the system disk, SYHL is the currently logged on system Administrator account) and deletes the directory named " Iconcache.db "file, the last reboot system, the system will automatically complete the Rebuild icon cache operation.
Once you've done this, you'll find that the hard drive icon that you didn't normally display is back to normal.
