1, WINDOWS7/8 system to start BitLocker for disk encryption method

Step: Left-click on the Desktop Control Panel (Control Panel has been placed on the desktop), in the Open Control Panel window, double-click: BitLocker Drive Encryption;

2, if we want to encrypt the drive h:/, then in the BitLocker Drive Encryption window, open drive H, and then click: Enable BitLocker;

3, in BitLocker Drive Encryption (H:) window, we left-click: Use the password unlock drive (P) tick, in the following two password box input password, and then click: Next;

4, Backup recovery password, we choose one of their favorite methods, such as: Save to U Disk (D), and then click: Next;

5, we insert U disk, and then click: OK;

6, back to just back up the password window, and then click: Next;

7, because my H disk is a new drive, so the default encryption only used disk space (U), then click Next;

8, H-Disk encryption has been completed, click: Off;

1. After we use BitLocker to encrypt the disk (h:/), we can go to disk h:/and use the files on h:/disk, but btlocker automatically blocks hackers and unauthorized users from accessing the encrypted disk.

2. If we add files to a BitLocker-encrypted disk, BitLocker will automatically encrypt the files.

3. Files can remain encrypted only if they are stored in a BitLocker-encrypted disk, which will be decrypted automatically if the files are copied to another disk.

All in all: confidential documents or privacy files on a BitLocker-encrypted disk, they can be used normally, but others can not see and use, confidential documents or privacy files are only placed on a BitLocker encrypted disk on the protection of the function.

11, if we want to unlock the H-disk BitLocker encryption, open the desktop computer, right click: H Disk (BitLocker encrypted with small lock disk), in the right key menu left click: Management BitLocker (B);

12, in the Open BitLocker Drive Encryption window, left-click: Off BitLocker;

13, in the Closed BitLocker prompt window, will decrypt your drive, we click: Off BitLocker;

14, in BitLocker Drive Encryption window, show H:bitlocker has been closed;

15, turn on the computer, you can see H: The small lock of the disk has disappeared, H disk has been decrypted.
