Win8 How to delete msi to temporarily extract the directory and compress the Installer folder

First, delete the $patchcache$ folder

1, $PatchCache $ is the system hidden file, you need to show it first, as shown in the figure:

2, then you can delete the $patchcache$ folder, if prompted permission issues, please obtain WIN8 Super Administrator rights.

PS: note, do not delete the other folders under the installer directory, otherwise it will cause the related software can not uninstall.

Second, compressed Installer folder

1, the following we compressed Installer folder to achieve the purpose of saving disk space, because the folder is stored in the software redundant information, not often read, so compression will not system performance.

2, right click on the Installer folder, select "Properties", open the "Installer Properties" window. As shown in figure:

3. Click the "Advanced" button at the bottom right of the "General" tab to open the Advanced Properties window. Check the following "Compress content to save disk space", OK.

Delete MSI temporarily decompression directory $patchcache$ folder file, and the Installer folder compressed, two steps at the same time can be released for the WIN8 system more space for the system to run quickly.
