The core version of the Windows 8 system, also known as the WIN8 system, is available for desktop and notebook users as well as for ordinary home users. For ordinary users, Windows 8 is the best choice. Includes a new Windows store, File Explorer (original Windows Explorer), Task Manager, and so on, and includes feature services that were previously available only in the Enterprise/flagship edition. For new markets such as China, Microsoft will provide local language version Win8, Win8 Chinese version. If you are using Windows 8 Consumer Preview any home security restrictions and other settings cannot be retained on your local computer. You can install Windows Live Essentials in Windows 8 Consumer preview but should not use home security. You can use Parental Controls in Windows 8 Consumer Preview to monitor your child's use of the computer.
To use parental control features in Windows 8 Consumer preview
1. Press on the right edge of the screen and click Search.
(If you use the mouse, move the mouse to the lower right corner and select search)
2. Select settings and enter parent. Click to set Parental Controls for all users.
3. Click on the standard user you want to monitor.
4. In parental control, choose Open.
