Windbg debugging kernel function switching between threads

Source: Internet
Author: User

Problem: when using windbg + vmare for kernel debugging, multi-thread switching may occur, resulting in a thread being no longer the same when the number of F10, this greatly affects normal debugging.

Solution: 1. You can set a breakpoint for a process or thread: BP/P eprocess address BP/t ethread address.

2. You can use scripts. I have never used this method, but I don't understand windbg scripts.

3. The last method is also stupid, that is, to break a breakpoint at the jump point, and then check every thread passing through it, find the desired thread and then debug it after the breakpoint is canceled. This is the first method I have used and is very stupid.
