Windows7 a method of querying and deleting duplicate items in itunes under the flagship system

1. First click on "Show---show Complete duplicates" to display duplicate items (match by song name and performer) and, if there are multiple versions of the same song, hold down the ALT or Option key (for Mac OS X) or Shift (for Windows), Then select the display--show the complete duplicate of the item, which will only show the name, performers and albums are the same repeat songs;

2, then the duplicate items will be sorted, view each item to determine the items you want to delete from the database, you can compare track length, add date, style, playback times, size, bit rate, etc. to help determine the items to be retained and the items to be deleted;

3, if you want to delete an item, select the item, and then choose Edit-Delete to delete the duplicate items.

4. When you have finished removing duplicate items from the repository, click on the bottom of the ITunes window to display all items.
