Windows7 64-bit, JDK 1.7 environment variable settings

1. Download the JDK installation package.

Http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7u9-downloads-1859576.html
File name: jdk-7u9-windows-x64

or login http://java.sun.com find software download under the Java SE Big class, download as needed.


2. Double-click Install JDK.

The JDK installation path is default. and write it down. C:\Program files\java\jdk1.7.0_09
Click Next to install JRE, path default.
(C:\Program files\java\jre7)

3. Set Environment variables (total 3 environment variables: java_home, classpath, Path)

Environment variables, advanced system settings, properties, computer, right-button, and so on

Click "New", Variable name: java_home
Variable Value: C:\Program files\java\jdk1.7.0_09
and the JDK installation path is the same, just write down, is used here. After entering, OK.

Then click "New", Variable name:
Classpath

Variable Value:
.; %java_home%\lib\dt.jar;%java_home\lib\tools.jar;

Attention!!! The dot in front of the semicolon., never forget!!

The third variable is not new, already has, variable name: Path Press "edit"

Can be found inside the original content, do not delete these content!! Instead, directly in front of the existing content, paste the following code:

Also do not forget the preceding dot semicolon., and the last semicolon;

4. Inspection

Start and bottom search box, enter cmd return
Input Java, enter
