In the world's officially released Windows 7 system, Microsoft has upgraded the version of IE installed in the system to the latest IE8, but because the IE8 toolbar and IE6, IE7 interface settings are different, many users because of the new IE8 toolbar is not used to the choice of " Redefine the IE toolbar. And when you have worked hard to modify the settings of the toolbar, it may be because someone else accidentally browser above the "misoperation", making it easy to get used to the interface and return to the IE8 default style.
To avoid this problem, only the "Lock toolbar" shown in IE browser will not achieve the ultimate goal. The author suggests that you can completely lock the IE8 toolbar in your computer's group Policy, so that you can avoid the IE toolbar being modified to some extent.
Run Group Policy edits, in turn, go to Computer configuration → management module → Windows build → Internet Explorer → toolbars, double-click Lock all toolbars in the right window (Figure 1), and then change the default setting to Enabled in the pop-up window ( As shown in Figure 2).

Finally, before you lock the browser's toolbar, it's a good idea to customize the IE8 toolbar. If you need to redefine the IE toolbar later, just change the lock all toolbars to "Not Configured" again by following the same set method above.
