We click on the Start button in the Win7 system, select Open All Programs-attachment-system tools, and find "Task Scheduler" to open the Win7 system's Task Scheduler Setup Panel. In the Task Scheduler Setup Panel of the Win7 system, we click on the menu "action-Create basic tasks."

Enter the name and description of the new task and click the Next button.

In the Triggers option, select the frequency of the shutdown task you want to perform, such as Daily, weekly, monthly, or single, and so on, and continue to the next step.

Continue setting the trigger time detail options. Continue to click Next.

In the operations option, the WIN7 system allows us to choose between starting a program, sending an email, displaying a message, because we need to use the shutdown command shutdown, so we choose "Start Program" here. Continue to click Next.

Now enter the Start program details, in the "program or script" column fill in the shutdown, in the "Parameters" column can choose to fill in. Here we fill out "-s-t 30" to tell the Win7 system that we need to provide a 30-second countdown to the Win7 system when the shutdown program is started.

After clicking on the next step, we can see that the WIN7 task plan will give details of the current setup task, confirm the error and click the "Confirm" button to complete the Win7 scheduled shutdown task planning settings.

Now, we can see the "Timed shutdown" task that we just set in the Task Scheduler Setup Panel of the Win7 system, listing the details of the task by type.
