During winrar use, decompression of compressed packages is one of the most frequently used operations. WinRAR users often need to use the right-click Compression package, and then select the decompression method to extract. Recently, a user has shared a double-click to unzip the compressed folder to the specified location method, very simple and practical. Let's take a look at how it's done!
In fact, when we unzip a file by double-clicking the mouse, the target file is often automatically released into the C:documents and Settingsusermy Documents folder (where user represents the current user account logged on to the Windows system). You can find the files released from the compressed package as soon as you enter the above folder. But due to the trouble of opening the above folder, inconvenient to quickly find the decompression document, so we can completely customize a quick and direct release path, in order to improve the efficiency of file search, the following is the specific steps to customize the release path:
First open the "My Computer" window, go to the partition outside the System Partition window, and then in the root directory of the partition to create a special to store a variety of extracted documents folder, for example, we create an "Extract Files" folder under the e-disk;
Next, run the WinRAR program, click the Options/Settings command in the menu bar in its working interface, and then, in the Settings window that pops up, click the Compress tab to open the label page shown in Figure 1.

In the "Default folder for extracting Files" text box on this page, remove the default "c:documents and settingsusermy Documents" release path, and then fill in the "E: Extract Files" path that you have specified earlier, and then click the OK button , so that later we use the mouse to double-click the file in the compressed package, the file will be automatically released to the "E: Unzip the file", when we just go to the "E: Unzip the file" will be able to find the "figure" of the extracted files. Of course, in this case we can also specify a suitable saving file for the newly created compressed package file, the new compressed file can be automatically organized to the specified location.
