If you work in a LAN, you must back up data frequently for security reasons. The following tips allow the computer to automatically back up your files to the server at regular intervals, and you only need WinRAR, in addition, Windows scheduled tasks can easily enable automatic and scheduled backup, shutdown backup, and idle backup on the computer.
(In this example, all new files in the C: \ Work folder must be backed up to the \ Ctipsserver \ bak folder on a regular basis. The operating system is Windows

1. Create a configuration file
Start Resource Manager to enter the C: \ Work folder. Select and right-click all files, select "WinRAR → add to compressed package", open the "compressed package name and Parameters" window, and click the "backup" tab, select the "generate compressed file name by Mask" check box. Then, click "Configure", select "save current configuration as new configuration", and enter the backup solution name in "configuration name", for example, "backup Work file content ", select the check boxes before "save file name", "save selected file name", and "create shortcuts on the desktop. Click OK to return to the Save file name and parameters window, and press OK to back up the file.

Ii. Regular backup

Tips
★To back up data when the computer is idle, click the "Task Plan" drop-down list box and select "idle ", in the "when the computer is idle for more than xx minutes" area, change the time to 10 minutes. After completing the preceding settings, click "OK" and then enter the system administrator password in the window to exit the settings window. In this way, the computer will automatically back up the data after 10 minutes.
★Automatic backup when the system starts: click the "Task Plan" drop-down list box and select "when the system starts" from it. Data is automatically backed up when the system starts.
★Shut down after the backup is complete: If you are off duty at, you can click the "advanced" tab when creating the WinRAR configuration file, and then select the "Disable computer power after the operation is completed" check box. The task is scheduled to back up data at five o'clock, so that the computer will automatically shut down after the data is backed up.
