WinXP How to optimize the setting of network connection speed and Duplex mode

Before setting up, let's explain what duplex mode is.

Duplex: The way information can be sent in two directions simultaneously between two points.

The meaning of duplex can be two-way transmission at the same time, as usual in the phone call like that. Devices such as walking on a phone are half-duplex or simple duplex.

Set the steps as follows:

1, on the desktop to find the "Network Neighborhood" icon, right click, select "Properties";

2, the new window will see the "Local Connection" icon, also click the right button, select "Properties";

3, in the out of the "local Connection Properties", click the "Configuration" button;

4, select the "Advanced" tab, see the list of properties will be a number of items, select "Connection speed and Duplex (Speed & Duplex)", the right Drop-down menu can see the speed of the selection, the default is "automatic", there will be different rate selection. Once selected, you are OK (you will need to restart your computer if necessary).
