You need to select a media source in the Recover from task pane, which is to choose to recover data from a floppy disk, CD-ROM, digital, or USB type of storage. Click to select the CD-ROM option, as shown in the figure.
2, in the right pane of the program to display the selected media type of drive list, the computer used in this example only installed a CD-ROM drive, so only one device is displayed. Then click the Drop-down triangle button to the right of the Restore mode, select the save lost file-mode # option in the Drop-down menu, and click Next, as shown in the picture. Small tip: Badcopy Pro offers three file recovery models, that is, "save damaged Files", "Save lost Files-mode #" and "Save lost Files-pattern", and users can choose the recovery model based on whether the data in the physical disk is corrupted or missing. For example, when the system prompts you not to read the data on the disc and prompts the user with CRC error or disk error, you should try to recover by using save lost files.
3. Open the "Cd-rom/cd-r/w/dvd lost File Save-mode #" window, insert the disc where you want to recover the data, and click the "Scan Disk" button. The program starts scanning the disc, and if you can find the disc section, the Prompt dialog box opens. Click the OK button, as shown in the figure.
4, click on the "track number" to the right of the Drop-down triangle button, in the Drop-down menu to select the disc scanned. The folder structure of the disc is displayed, the missing files that need to be recovered are found in the right pane, and the Recover button is clicked, as shown in the figure.
5. Open the Select Target Folder dialog box, click the Browse button to select the folder where you want to save the recovery file, and click OK, as shown in the figure.
6, the program began to try to restore the file, the recovery process required time depending on the size of the file and the degree of damage. After the file is successfully recovered, the Open Recovered Folder dialog box opens, and the OK button is clicked, as shown in the figure.
7, open the Recovery folder, the user can view the recovered files, as shown in the figure.
