I. Master asked: "When will the body change ?" "Next week ." The monk replied, "The Journey is far away. I have made a few grass shoes, and I will leave after receiving the goods ."
"It's better to say this. I 'd like to invite you to donate ."
I don't know how many people I told, but dozens of people sent straw shoes that day, full of the corner of the Zen Room. The next morning, someone brought an umbrella to the monk. The monk asked, "Why are you sending an umbrella ?" "Your master said that you would like to travel far away, and there may be heavy rain on the road. I asked if I could send you an umbrella ." The monk often misses master's care. But on this day, more than one person sent an umbrella. In the evening, nearly 50 umbrellas were piled up in the Zen Room.
After the evening, Master entered the monk's Zen Room: "Are there enough straw shoes and umbrellas ?"
"Enough !" The monk pointed to shoes and umbrellas piled up in the room. "too many, I cannot carry them all ."
"How can this be done ?" Master said, "The sky is unpredictable. Who knows how many roads and rain you will take? What if my shoes are worn and my umbrella is lost ?" "You will certainly encounter many streams," said master. "Tomorrow I will trust you to donate your boat. Please take it with you ......"
The monk understood master's intentions. He kneel down and said, "The younger brother and son are leaving now. Nothing is required !"
What is important to do one thing is not whether external things are complete, but whether they are determined! With determination and goal drafting, everything is not a problem! Please take your path with your heart. Your goal is far away and your path is under your own feet. Every step is a little bit rewarding!
With the heart of the road, all external things naturally have enough.
The road is far away, and it is difficult to do nothing! Motivation comes from the heart. External encouragement is only for the moment.
