Wms8_ Warehouse Configuration

Warehouses are divided into different areas, such as the receiving area, the shipping area, the inventory area, these areas in Odoo called "Location", the location can be nested up and down, forming a tree-like hierarchical relationship.

Location is divided into different types

• Physical inventory location "physical stock locations", that is, internal locations

Enter the name of the warehouse in the warehouse name, enter the abbreviated number in short name, select a warehouse address from the Address drop-down selection box, which is the shipping address for the purchase delivery.

Warehouse configuration options

• Receipt route, the system has three predefined routes to use
  • Single step, direct receipt to inventory
  • Two steps, first unloaded to the receiving area, then transferred to inventory
  • Three-step, first unloading to the receiving area, and then transferred to the QC area, and finally transferred to the inventory

  Route

  A route is a set of push-and-pull rules that can be applied to 4 levels of objects, such as warehouses, products, product classifications, order lines

  Sequence is the sequence number of the route, when there are multiple routes available, the system chooses the lower sequence
