To be able to use the keyboard to enter symbols that are not on the keyboard directly, users can do so by adding "autocorrect" entries to common symbols in Word2010. The steps for adding AutoCorrect entries to common symbols in Word2010 are as follows:
In step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the symbol button in the symbols group, and click the more symbols option.
Click the other Symbols option
Step 2nd, open the Symbol dialog box, find and select the symbol (such as ≌ number) that you want to add the AutoCorrect entry, and click the AutoCorrect button.
Click the AutoCorrect button
Step 3rd, switch to the AutoCorrect tab in the Open Word2010 dialog box, enter the replacement key that you want to use in the Replace edit box (for example, "= = ="), and click the add → OK button.
Step 4th, return to the Symbol dialog box and continue adding an AutoCorrect entry for the other symbols. Set Finish click the Cancel button to close the Symbol dialog box.
