A character can be a Chinese character, a letter, a number, or a single symbol, and the format of the character includes the font, size, weight, spacing of characters, and various representations.

Simple character formatting can be done by using the buttons on the toolbar to perform typesetting operations. For example, to set the font bold, you can click the toolbar button to implement, set the font size, you can click on the toolbar, "Font size" Drop-down list button to select the font size, etc., or through the shortcut keys to do, such as, select the font underline, you can click Underline button or select the line style for the underline in the Drop-down list.

However, some special fonts must be in the Font dialog box to complete the setup. If you want to make a more artistic character effect, such as distorted fonts, rotating words, etc., can be done through the WordArt. Formatting characters with the Formatting toolbar allows you to set some simple character formatting.

Randomly select font size

Selecting the font size method is simple, click the Drop-down List button on the Common toolbar, and select or enter a font size in the font size list.

There are two ways to represent the font size, one is the Chinese number, the smaller the number, the larger the corresponding font size, the other is the Arabic numerals, the smaller the font size, the smaller the characters. The font size is in points, in millimeters the method is: 1 mm = 2.83 lb; the unit of conversion for points and numbers is: 1 lb. =1/72 inches, 1 inches = 21.4 mm.

In Word, there are two types of units of measurement, one is the font size of the Chinese characters, the first, the early, the number 、... Number seventh, eighth, and the other is the international "pound" to say, such as 4, 4.5, 10, 、... 48, 72 and so on.

In Chinese font size, the larger the number, the smaller the word, so the number eighth is the smallest; When you use the size of "points", the smaller the number, the smaller the size of the character, and the larger the size of the character. How big is 1 pounds? 2.83 pounds equals 1 millimeters, so the 28th word is probably a centimeter high word, about the equivalent of a word in the Chinese font number.

In the word environment, you can also print big banners, big banner, large enough "big" font needed to cut the word. In fact, the largest font in Word is up to "1638 lbs"! Speaking of the "pound" value, it is necessary to talk about the measurement of Chinese character font in Word.
