When you edit in Word, you can create a new style if you want. However, because Word users, usually only with the word, this may not be a special understanding, so small make up to take you to learn.
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and click the Display Style Window button in the Styles group in the start Ribbon, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, click the New Style button in the Open Styles pane, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3rd, open the Create new style based on Formatting dialog box, and enter the name of the new style in the name edit box. Then click the Style type Drop-down triangle button to include five types in the style type Drop-down list: (1) Paragraph: The new style will apply to the paragraph level; (2) Character: The new style will be used only for character levels, (3) To link paragraphs and characters: The new style will be used for both paragraph and character levels; (4) Tables: New styles are used primarily for tables; (5) List: New styles are used primarily for bulleted and numbered lists. Select a style type, such as paragraph, as shown in Figure 3.

Step 4th, click the Style datum drop-down triangle button, and in the style base Drop-down list, select one of the built-in styles in Word2010 as the base style for the new style, as shown in Figure 4.

Step 5th, click the next paragraph style drop-down triangle button, and in the next paragraph style drop-down list, select a subsequent style for the new style, as shown in Figure 5.

Step 6th, in the format area, set the paragraph formatting and character formatting for the font, font size, color, paragraph spacing, alignment, and so on. If you want the style to apply to all documents, you need to select the new document based on this template radio box. When you are finished, click the OK button, as shown in Figure 6.

Tip: If the user chooses the table option when selecting Style type, only the table-related styles in the style base provide a selection, and you cannot set paragraph formatting such as paragraph spacing, as shown in Figure 7.

If the user chooses the list option when selecting Style type, the style datum is no longer displayed and the formatting is limited to bulleted and numbered list-related formatting options, as shown in Figure 8.
