Word2013 new feature: Add network video to your document

When Microsoft first revealed new features in Word 2013, one of the biggest highlights was allowing users to insert online video into their text files. Recently, the company has added information about this particular feature.

In the official Word blog, Microsoft says there is a table in Word 2013 where users can search for online videos on YouTube and insert them into their documents. This feature also supports Bing Video search and direct insertion of video code.

Microsoft said: "When you search for a video, each result is displayed in the thumbnail preview, and hovering over the thumbnail displays the title of the video, the supplier (such as YouTube, Youku, etc.) and the length of time. Click the lower-right corner to make a video preview so you can make sure you want the video before inserting it. ”

When all the online files are inserted into the Word2013 document, the original link is displayed as a thumbnail image. Users of Word 2013 can place videos anywhere in the file and resize them. If you want to print a document, the video thumbnail still exists, but the play button is hidden.

If the user uses an earlier version of Word to open the video in Word 2013, it is still viewable because the thumbnail link is linked to the original video source.
