Workaround for SharePoint Newsfeed does not appear

Follow this guide to configure MySite:

Moreover, there is no newsfeed link on the left:

The reason is that when we configured OWA, we ran the following command:

  1: $a = new-spuserlicensemapping-securitygroup "" –license officewebappsedit
  2:     Add-spuserlicensemapping
  3:     enable-spuserlicensing-confirm: $false

So the solution is to either disable-spuserlicensing or run the following command:

  New-spuserlicensemapping-securitygroup "" –license Enterprise
  2: $a | Add-spuserlicensemapping
  3:enable-spuserlicensing-confirm:$false
