WPS table, setting cell formatting is one of the most common operations that users work with. A new version of the WPS table allows users to format cell text in a variety of formats, and this article gives a brief introduction to the techniques for formatting multiple formats. Includes the following areas:
1. The setting of multiple colors of the cell. 2. The setting of the cell slash header. 3. How to insert special symbols.
How to set the color of a cell
The following is an example of a cell in Figure 1 that shows how to make multiple color settings on its contents. The specific steps are as follows:

Step 1: Select the WPS Office 2005 text in cell A1, select the format | Set cell Format menu item, and in the Format Cells dialog box, set the value in the Color option to blue.
Step 2: Click "OK" button to complete the setup. Use the same method to set the "knowledge point" in cell A1 to red. A1 the cell multiple color settings are complete, as shown in Figure 2.

Users often need to make a slash header in a wps table, and it's always a hassle for users to make such a table head before. The diagonal header effect is shown in Figure 3.

WPS Table currently offers 2 ways to set Slash headers:
Method 1: Set the slash header by the "Up and down" way.
Method 2: Set the slash header by using the key-line wrapping method.
Up and down standard way
Step 1: First, the "Knowledge point" to the superscript set. Select "Knowledge points", select the format | Set cell Format menu item, and in the Format Cells dialog box, tick the Superscript check box in the featured Effects option. As shown in Figure 4.

Click "OK" button, "Knowledge point" text set to superscript format.
Step 2: Use the same method for subscript setting for "ordinal". The data in the A1 cell becomes the effect shown in Figure 5.

Step 3: Select A1 cell, select the Format | cell menu item, select the Borders tab in the Format Cells dialog box, and slash the border formatting. As shown in Figure 6.

Manual line-Wrapping Input Method
Step 1: Implement the effect of a branch in a cell. First enter the "Knowledge point" in the cell, press the key combination, the cursor goes to the next line, then enter the "serial number", and then add the appropriate space before the "knowledge point" to achieve the effect as shown in Figure 5.
Step 2: Step 3 of the same way 1. The specific settings are shown in Figure 6.
Step 3: Click on the "OK" button, slash head set to complete, the effect is shown in Figure 3.
How do i insert a special symbol
In the actual work, the user needs to enter some special symbols in the cell, the WPS table provides the very practical special symbolic input function. The following is an example of entering "√" in a cell.
Step 1: Position the cursor in brackets in front of "wonderful", select the Insert | symbol menu item, select the Symbol tab in the Symbol dialog box, set the value in the Subset Drop-down list to mathematical operator, and then select the √ symbol in the list of symbols. As shown in Figure 7.

Step 2: Click the "Insert" button, and then click the "Close" button to close the Symbol dialog box, the symbol has been inserted in the desired location. As shown in Figure 8.
