In terms of technology, I have been able to complete the task from the very beginning to the present. In terms of business, I learned a little bit about how an industry runs, the logic behind the plain scenes, and the unknown world is always a happy thing. There are also cute or less lovely colleagues who enrich my life.

This year, I changed the number of units. The reason is not that I did not feel uncomfortable in the original unit, but that I did not have the space for development. At this point, I and the original leaders, big bosses have talked about it. After all, it would be best to continue to develop in a familiar environment. The result is that the salary can be increased, but there is no space for development. On the day I went, my colleagues wished me a blessing, as if a student who graduated from school left the place where he had been working for six years with a thick 13-piece work diary.


My position is similar to that in a new organization, but I still have a group. This position is similar to the previous one, but it is quite different in daily work.


Technically, this year is a major change. We have been working on winform in the past, and this year we have fully transformed it into web. In fact, some web applications have been made before, but they are all independent small projects that are somewhat experimental. Now it is a real practice. The existing development environment is not ideal. A large number of niche technologies are a headache and maintenance has become a very difficult task.


In the development section, a lot of contacts with js, jquery, and css are all blank in my technology. At the beginning, the progress was very slow, and sometimes it was very idiotic. After 10 years of work, I went back to the white state. If I put all the pieces I learned here, it will make everyone laugh. However, it is much easier to compare with the mentality of the past. Even enjoy the learning status of emptying the bowl and filling the water again. In addition to mastering specific technologies, we also need to understand the basic model and architecture of network programming.

As if I had returned to the student age, every day I had a new harvest. I knew that I could still learn and move into an unknown field. I felt so happy.


In the original place, I took charge of a product and only contacted an experienced product manager. Now I am in charge of a part of a big system. To work with other groups, I need to contact various customer managers at different levels. it is inevitable to work with other groups in the face of responsibilities that are not so clearly "gray. Some words such as "all", "main part", and "some" often make the work not so smooth, especially when you meet a colleague who is good at playing Taiji. Words with unclear boundary definitions will make "good guys" exhausted, and those who use Taiji will enjoy their benefits. I just try to clarify the responsibility boundary as much as possible. I don't want to help others, I just don't want my group's resources to be exhausted, and people are exhausted.

 

In communication with various customer managers, the two situations may make people feel helpless.

First, the customer manager knows little about the product, and the attitude is not intended to know. I often explain a question to him once. When the customer asks him, I will answer the question again. There is no good way to deal with such a situation. I just dug out the original reply from the e-mail heap and forwarded it. I hope that the accumulated timestamps will make the customer manager aware, fortunately, we have been working on the field for so many years, and we can still see it.

Second, every customer manager thinks that his or her business is the most important thing. He can't wait for the customer to sign a request today and start work tomorrow. The customer will see it the day after tomorrow. However, the development plan cannot be changed at will. No one who needs to send more emails will have a higher priority. In this case, it is necessary to make them touch soft nails. It's a pity that time passes through these meaningless emails and conversations.

 

On the other hand, we have our own group environment. The change in this environment poses the greatest challenge to me. In the IT industry where fresh meat is everywhere, I am the youngest in our entire Development Department, and others are about 10 years older than me, our development department is a nursing home in my good friend's mouth. In such an environment, I should be very well cared for as a novice recruit, but now I am the one who leads a group to change their working models for decades. The resistance to this process can be imagined. That feeling is especially uncomfortable. What you want to do is not smooth everywhere. You may even wonder why you have to come here from a well-adapted environment to find trouble for yourself. Talking to the leaders, the leaders say they trust me, and they make changes when they recruit me. I talked to other leaders and they encountered resistance in different places. These conversations help me a lot, and communication with others is a process of mutual understanding. In addition, we only have to do our best to do our job well and wait for the day when the group runs normally.

Fortunately, I have not waited for a long time. After half a year of work, a regular meeting suddenly began to feel like the group suddenly turned around, as if it had suddenly been on the boay road from the Yangchang Road. Although there is still a lot of work to be done before the efficiency of the entire group reaches a satisfactory level, it takes a longer time to work together.
