A person who lives in the world is trying to endure all kinds of damages. By thinking about this, everything can be done in a calm manner. -- Wang Xiaobo
In the previous article, we have introduced in detail how to install the centos5.1 system, but how to operate the created virtual machine after starting the virtual machine. Xenserver provides the xencenter tool
Convenient and quick Management of virtual platforms. Similar to xenserver's open-source xen cloud platform, xencenter also provides open-source tools, openxencenter. The former can only be installed in windows, and the latter is a graphical tool installed in Linux. Of course, in addition to these two tools, there are also many open-source tools, lightweight xen cloud control system, which is completely web-based and can be managed through browsers, mobile phones, and other systems. There are also xen orchestra, xen web manage, and so on.
Xencenter can also manage open-source XCP. Because the XCP version installed is 1.1.0, after testing, xencenter must be version 6.0 or later.
Download xencenter6.0 in windows, and install it in a common Windows program. Although it can be used for free, you still need to register it. Otherwise, there is only a free-day validity period.
The page for successful installation is as follows.
Click Add Server. For example, you can connect to XCP by adding the IP address, user name, and password of the XCP service.
The virtual machines installed on the XCP host are displayed on the left.
For example, you have a VM installed on the console.
After entering the Virtual Machine System, you also need to configure an IP address to enable the virtual machine to access the Internet. As mentioned in the previous article, specifying a virtual network card to a physical network card can enable the virtual machine to connect to the Internet through bridging mode, however, you also need to set the virtual IP address to the same CIDR block as the XCP host.
