How to set the wince simulation simulator (Network, serial port, and headset)

Recently, I used wince to build a project, but there was only one development board for the school lab. Another senior engineer also needed it. So I tried to use the wince simulation simulator to test the program. So how to set the wince simulator? Here, XiXi will share it with you!

Before that, do you want to use a simulator to access the Internet? First install Virtual PC 2007 setup.exe!

1. Open the wince Simulator

Enable Visual Studio 2008

In the menu bar: Tools> connect to a device. The "connect to device" page is displayed. In the "Platform" drop-down list, select "Windows CE ", then, select "Pocket PC 2003 se simulation program" in the displayed list and click "Connect. As follows:

 

After the connection is successful, the simulation Simulator Interface is displayed. The interface is completely a handheld computer, which is very good! As follows:

 

Ii. Set Properties of the wince simulation Simulator

To access the Internet, you must first install Virtual PC 2007 setup.exe and then connect to the simulator again. Virtual PC can be directly installed without any configuration.

1. Set Shared Folders

Click File> configuration in the menu bar of the simulator interface. On the simulation program properties page, select the "shared folder" directory on the "General" tab. Then, click OK. It takes effect only when the base is inserted. As follows:

 

2. Set the network

You need to install Virtual PC 2007 first. (Well, It's cool ...... Haha)

Go to the "network" tab on the "simulation program properties" interface, check "enable ne2000 PCMCIA network adapter and bind to", and select "micro port of the package scheduler" from the drop-down list ". OK. It takes effect only when the base is inserted. Of course, you still need to set the network connection attribute in the simulator to access the Internet. You must finish watching the operation before proceeding!

3. Set the serial port and headset

Go to the "peripheral devices" tab on the "simulation program properties" interface and check the corresponding options. As follows:

 

4. Insert the base to make the settings take effect.

In the menu bar of vs2008, choose tools> device simulator management, right-click the "Pocket PC 2003 se simulation program" you are currently using, select "connection", and right-click again, select "insert base". Now your simulator can use the network, serial port, headset, and other resources on your computer. As follows:

 

5. Set Network Connection Properties in the wince Simulator

On the wince Simulator Interface, choose "start"> "Settings", select the "connection" tab, click "Nic" on the single machine, and select "Default Internet Settings" on the "My Nic connections" tab ", select "ne2000 Compatible Ethernet driver" in the list, select "use server assigned IP Address", and click OK in the upper right corner. Finally, open ie in the simulator, click an antenna icon, select the NIC to connect to "Default Internet Settings", and then you can access the Internet.
