Method (take the XP system as an example ):
1. Download the tool and decompress it to any location, for example, D: \ n820.
2. Copy the two files in "D: \ n820 \ USB vcom driver \ error" to the system disk (mdmcpq. copy inf to c: \ windows, usbser. sys to c: \ windows \ system32 \ Drivers). Note: This step aims to solve the Driver Installation failure or error in the following steps.
3. Remove the cell phone battery and install the back cover (do not install, do not install the power key and sound key is more difficult to press)
4. Connect the USB cable to your mobile phone and prompt Driver Installation
1) Select "Install from list or specified location (advanced )"
2) Tick the marker "include this position in the search, click Browse and select "USB vcom driver \ 2k_xp_com" in the decompressed folder (2k_xp_com is selected based on your system), for example, D: \ n820 \ USB vcom driver \ 2k_xp_com
3) Click Next to complete the installation. (Unplug the USB cable after installation)
5. Press and hold the "audio key-" to insert the USB data cable (Note: Press and hold the "audio key-" button)
6. If you are prompted to install the driver, follow "Step 4" to install the driver again (unplug the USB data cable after installation ).
7. Open the tool "D: \ n820 \ spflashtool \ flash_tool.exe", click "Scatter-loading" and select "D: \ n820 \ Boot \ mt6577_android_scatter_emmc.txt ", remove the check box before "preloader" and check "bootimg" only.
8. Click "Download" on the top, and a prompt will pop up after you press it. Click "yes ".
9. Press and hold the "audio key-" to insert the USB data cable (note: "audio key-" must be pressed, do not put). You will find that the following red progress bar is walking. After 100%, it will wait about 10 seconds and start to change to a yellow progress bar. When it reaches 100%, a green circle will pop up, indicating that the process is complete.
10. Unplug the USB cable. After the battery is installed, the system will be prompted to be upgraded. It will take about a few seconds to complete.
