XP system VPN connection often automatically disconnected how to solve
Workaround 1:
Delete some other VPN clients, network Accelerator clients, and try to re-establish a new VPN connection.
A minute later, the Windows XP SP1 system automatically disconnects from the VPN because this behavior can occur when Internet Connection Sharing is turned on for one or more network connections.
Workaround 2:
Upgrade to the latest SP3
or workaround:
To resolve this issue, turn off Internet Connection Sharing to prevent the VPN connection from disconnecting. To do this, follow these steps:
Open the network connection.
Right-click the dial-up connection, LAN connection, PPPoE connection, or VPN connection that you do not want to share, and then click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
Clear the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box, and then click OK.
As shown below, do not tick the red circle.
Workaround 3:
For local network situation combined with your own network situation, please try to switch other server IP address to connect, each server IP location, change the server IP address to connect, may improve the automatic disconnect and improve network speed. If you find a slow or frequent disconnect, change the server IP to resolve it.
Workaround 4:
Part of the reason is your system and routers, now the problem of the router is generally less, most of the reason is the system, if your system is a number of personal modified version, those who do not have officially approved version, in connection with VPN, will also occur automatically disconnect, or error, we strongly recommend that the system use the official version, Do not use other unofficial versions.
