Xshell can be pinged but not remote server, putty can be remote
When xshell is used remotely, ssh cannot be found on the server, But putty can be used to ssh to the server. After a long time, I finally found the cause. Now I want to share it with you.
Symptom:
Can be pinged, but ssh is always stuck
- Connecting to 192.168.80.128: 22...
- Connection established.
- To escape to local shell, press 'ctrl + Alt +] '.
This status is shown in:
Cause:
This is because there is a file in the session configuration-> properties-> connection-> SSH, there is an option in this tab: do not allocate a terminal, as shown in:
According to the test, if this option is selected, the logon shell Interface is not displayed when xshell uses an ssh remote server. After removing this configuration option, try the ssh server again and find that the server's shell Interface is displayed !!
