Use rz and sz commands to transmit files in xshell
It is easy to use, and sometimes you want to upload or download a file in windows and linux. In fact, there is a very simple method: rz, sz
First, you need to install rz. sz on Ubuntu. (If you have not installed rz. sz, run the following command. If you have installed rz. sz, skip this step. For other linux versions, install the corresponding software on your own)
Sudo apt-get install lrzsz
You can use it after installation.
Rz, sz is the command line tool for ZModem file transmission in Linux/Unix and Windows.
Windows must support the ZModem telnet/ssh client (xshell support, as if putty does not support). SecureCRT can be used to log on to Unix/Linux Hosts (either telnet or ssh)
Run the rz command to receive the file. xshell will pop up the file selection dialog box. After selecting the file, close the dialog box and upload the file to the current directory in linux.
Run the command sz file to send the file to windows (the saved directory can be configured), which is much easier than the ftp command, and the server no longer needs to enable the FTP service.
Another method is to install xftp and transfer files.
