1. Find the installation directory of thunder, such as C:/program files/thunder. Find the components/assumerhelper/thunder. xpi file under it.
(Xpi is an extension Installation File of Firefox, but it is essentially a zip package. We can extract the files by changing the extension name to zip. We need to do this next step .)
2. Rename thunder.xpiame as thunder.zip, and use winraror other compressed software to open thunder.zip.
3. Decompress install. RDF to any location, such as the desktop. The WinRAR window is not closed for the moment.
(Tip: You can drag install. RDF to the desktop to decompress it)
4. Use a text editor (Notepad, ultraedit, etc.) to open the install. RDF file.
5. Find a row containing the following content (14th rows should be excluded), delete it, and save it:
<Em: updateurl> http://www.xunlei.com/update </em: updateurl>
6. Refresh the modified install.rdf file to thunder.zip to overwrite the original install. RDF file.
(Tip: You can drag install. RDF to the WinRAR window to add it)
7. Shut down winrarand rename thunder.zip back to thunder. xpi.
8. Open thunder, select Tools> browser support> Add Firefox support, and you can install thunder extension for firefox3.
[Note: I have just tested it and can install it in the official Firefox 3 version.]
