ZBrush is a professional digital engraving and 3D modeling software that can be used in many areas of work and learning. But this software has a not very friendly question: it is English version. For the English is not good for us, learning and use is very troublesome. Today, I'll give you an answer to ZBrush's alpha menu.

Alpha Control Board
In ZBrush, the shaded 8-bit grayscale image is called alpha, which is used to control the brush shape and draw.
Alpha only uses the MRGZB gripper, when the object is crawled, ZBrush calculates 16-bit alpha to represent the hierarchy and adds it to the Alpha Control Board, the larger Bit level must be alpha to represent the 3D object, and the gripper can be used to create the alpha of any object on the canvas.
Import (Importing)
Import. Bmp. Psd. Jpg. Pick (MAC), you can select multiple alpha images and load them at the same time, and if you import a color image, they will automatically convert to grayscale images.
Export (output)
Output 8-bit. Bmp. PSD, or PICT (MAC).
Blur (Blur)
Blurs makes the alpha image smooth, with negative values sharpening it. The range value is 15 to +15, and the default value is 2.
Noise (Noise)
Add noise to alpha image.
Max (max)
The current alpha maximum tonal range, like the auto level setting, adjusts the current alpha light portion of pure white to drink the black part of the dark.
Rf (Light attenuation)
FF light attenuation, high setting causes Alpha to fade rapidly as it approaches from center to edge.
Alpha Adjust Curve (alpha curve Control)
The gamma value of the Alpha Shield is controlled by the alpha adjustment curve, that is, by adjusting the value of the gray level to brighten or darken the alpha mask, adjust the new alpha mask, and draw a variety of special effects with other brushes and strokes. In addition, the new Alpha parameter values can be stored and called later.
Flip H (horizontal inversion)
Invert Alpha left and right.
Flip V (vertical inversion)
Invert alpha up or down.
Rotate (swivel)
Each time you click 90 degrees to rotate alpha one time.
Invers (Reversed phase)
Produces a reversed-phase alpha image.
MRes Tx (produces resolution)
Using the Make 3D (Generate 3D) button setting to create the current mesh resolution, high values result in large levels of detail, large polygons, and large file sizes. (Range: 8-256, default 64)
MDEP (Generation level)
Using the Make 3D (Generate 3D) button setting to create the current mesh smoothness, if the slide is set to 0, the current grid uses cubical skinning (cube skin), regardless of where the object is composed of many tiny cubes.
Make 3D (generates 3D)
Creates a 3D mesh skin with the currently selected Alpha, which is symmetrical along the z axis and automatically assigns Auvtiles (AUV tiling) coordinates.
Make Tx (produces textures)
Creates a texture with the currently selected Alpha and adds it as an active texture to the texture (texture) control board.
Make St (Generate template)
Creates a template with the currently selected Alpha and activates the template.
Cd (clear color clears colors)
Typically this is an active state, and if you click Deactivate, the current color cannot be populated.
Cropandfill (fill color) ctrl+f
The current alpha size is clipped to the canvas, the alpha grayscale produces a height change, and the height value is controlled by adjusting the Alpha Depth factor.
Grabdoc (Create new Alpha)
Click to create a new alpha for the current canvas pattern, or you can make your own alpha in the canvas to use.
Alpha Depth Factor (alpha depth)
Set the depth value of alpha by using the slider bar and typing a numeric value.
