How to set the status of a notebook after the lid is closed

Locate the power supply display icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop and right-click into the Power Options window.

Also, if the power icon is not found, you can right-click the icon computer and open Control Panel.

In the Control Panel, locate the hardware and sound and click Enter.

Locate the Power options and tap into the Power Options window.

Small Win7 system, generally on the left side will have the option to close the lid function, as shown.

Click on the option to turn off the lid will enter the system settings, to find the closure of the lid of the row of options, click to select their desired state. As pictured.

If the Power Options window does not have that option, click Change Plan settings on the plan you are using in the Select Power Plan.

Find the change power advanced settings, click Enter.

Locate the power button and lid in the Power Options advanced settings.

Click to change the state you want
