Kororaa 15.1 (squirt) publishes a non-professional Linux distribution

The second edition of Kororaa 15.1 (code-named "Squirt") has been released, and the 15.1 version offers 32-bit and 64-bit versions of downloads, using KDE 4.6 and GNOME 3.

This version contains some revisions and improvements, which are listed below. Special thanks to the Prashanth review for outlining many Kororaa 15 shortcomings.

Major changes include:

The problem of causing a KDE crash in live mode is fixed (the link is incorrectly disabled)
Kdenlive Error stopped running modified
Kpackagekit crash problem is fixed in live mode
Bypass login screen and load directly to desktop
Disable the screen saver and the live mode on the lock screen
Rename to desktop switch switch between shell and backup desktop
Added easy to install Google Talk plugin
Add a Skype-dependent package (Skype's assistant)
Add more Gnome Shell themes
Delete Gloobus preview (incomplete in Fedora)
Remove Gnome appearance attribute link (replaced in GNOME3)
Delete the newly-established package Manager

Kororaa 15.1 with an RPM meta package installed and configured http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/9084.html ">adobe Flash, now, add/Remove add-on disappears." To get Flash, install the Flash-plugin-helper package. Remove Flash, uninstall Flash-plugin package.

Kororaa 15.1 also comes with a package to install an RPM Skype dependency (not Skype itself). Just install the Skype-helper package and then download the Fedora Skype package from their website, using the Package Manager installation.

Upgrade Instructions:

Existing Kororaa 15 users do not need to upgrade to 15.1, these changes are mainly affecting live mode, while the other parts have been updated through the system.

But this still does not prevent Kororaa 14 of users from upgrading to 15.1, through a completely new installation (back up your data, if necessary). Users who wish to continue using GNOME 2.x should not be upgraded to 15.1 because it is using GNOME 3. However, Kororaa 15.1 does not include a desktop switch for GNOME 3, which allows users to switch between the shell and the backup desktop.

Desktop Description:

The Gnome 3 desktop incorporates a custom theme and several extensions to provide an enhanced user experience (and help ease the transition from GNOME 2.x). It also has Gnome's adjustment tools to allow further customization.

KDE desktop has a specific default application, such as Firefox for web and VLC media customization layout, now also with Linphone for those who want to sip clients.
