MARIADB V5.1.55 publishes the Maria storage engine based on the transaction

The mariadb Maria storage engine, which replaces MySQL's MyISAM storage engine, uses Percona's XTRADB,INNODB variants, and branch developers want to provide access to the upcoming MySQL 5.4 InnoDB performance. More code for this project is adapted to MySQL 6.0, for example, the pool of threads feature provides solutions to multiple data connectivity problems. MARIADB 5.1.41 RC can be downloaded here, with 32-bit and 64-bit compiled Linux versions, including source code packages. MARIADB is based on the GPL 2.0 release.

The MARIADB development team today released MARIADB version 5.1.55, which includes upgrading MySQL to 5.1.55 and Xtradb upgrading to 5.1.54-12.5, while MARIADB is now available directly in Debian and Ubuntu Install directly through the Software Library (APT).
