XWiki is a WikiWiki clone written in Java this supports many popular features of other Wikis as the Wiki syntax, version control, attachments, security, and searching, but also many advanced-like templates, database and dynamic features using The velocity or groovy scripting language, a plugin system and skinability, Java EE scalability, XML/RPC remote APIs, portlets Integration, statistics, an RSS feed, PDF exporting, and WYSIWYG editing.
Changes:there are a few new features and many improvements in stability, code quality, and build practice. The top new features are the ability to export wiki documents to Office documents and a new UI exposing the PDF customization option S. Among the most important changes are the migration of the sources from SVN to GitHub, changing the minimal JDK version required T o 1.6, and migrating from commons-logging+log4j to Slf4j+logback.
