The domestic Internet market appears "two-day ice-fire" phenomenon, while the electric quotient, smartphones, search engines, social applications, such as the representative of the "Domestic army" occupy the absolute upper hand, the other side is the domestic operating system, domestic application software for the representative of the "domestic pie" in the marginalization. One cold and one hot bipolar performance, let domestic Internet market present "one leg" walk of abnormal state. However, recent news has made the domestic operating system is expected in the next time "salted fish." Although is by virtue of the policy of the big hand in regulation, but the next development of domestic operating system has been able to ...

The pace of information and communication technology is not going to stop – a trend that is also reflected in manufacturing. Intelligent, networked manufacturing systems fundamentally change the way products are manufactured: Industry 4.0. It is actually the fourth time after the steam engine, mass production and automation of the Industrial Revolution. Fraunhofer Cato for Labor Economics and from, Germany's Fraunhofer Institute for Labour Economics and organization, believes that 50 billion networked devices will work together in 2020. These ...

These two years, online education market lively, but also is a smoke and mirrors. Reporter friends have been asking me how the Internet will change education? This tradition can no longer be the traditional industry. To tell the truth, no one knows. From the first Youdao internal discussion online education, to this April Ding lei in Beijing officially launched an online education platform, and then to now the beginning of the school, three years have passed. I think, after this period of exploration, I can answer this question a little bit. So, at today's Internet conference, I made a speech titled "The Iceberg of online education." The reason to take this mark ...

When Guoda, the data is big also should find a destination. Some people say that big data is the apple of cloud computing, the place of the princess. Although the emperor's daughter does not worry about marrying, but the big data is not as good as the virtual Lori best-selling, everyone in hot discussion big data, once want to talk about marriage, many people seem to have a marriage phobia. Do not doubt the big data is not enough charm, because the big data although it makes people's imagination, but the big data of the wedding night full of suspicious. Just the past 2012 is really big data of the year, the matchmaker seems to have broken the threshold of each data center, everyone on the big data ...

New IT technology applications are always faster than we can imagine, even Bill Gates once thought that 64K of RAM is enough for PCs. Over the years, people have been more of a witness, not a prediction, in the IT world. For the network, the evolution of Ethernet from 10M to 10GE is just 10 time. I have to say, 10,000 times times the pace of development is simply a miracle. But there is always a causal rule behind any miracle. Ethernet technology so rapid development of the root, in no way lies in the technology itself, not in the bus technology, interface technology, signal processing technology, chips ...

According to Reuters, Intel's manufacturing director and new chief Operating Officer (COO) Brian Krzanich claim to have adjusted the company's supply chain for smartphones and tablet manufacturers, shortening the supply chain turnaround period to meet the highly fragmented needs of mobile device manufacturers. Most large enterprises have a hybrid operating system environment that runs at least two operating systems in Windows, Linux, and UNIX. 　　In the future, there is likely to be a similar scenario for virtual machine management programs: Many businesses may soon be combining multiple virtualization technologies, with at least one of the Hyper-V, Xen, or KVM operations, in addition to VMware Virtual machine management programs. Why? One reason is that many companies are interested in cloud computing, especially in building private clouds. Based on open S ...

Lift X86 Server or PC chip, perhaps everyone for Intel and AMD two old rivals are not unfamiliar, Intel as the processor market leader, 2011 in the CPU market performance is still strong, and in the future or for a long time, still occupy the majority of the CPU market share , AMD seems to have not stopped catching up with other manufacturers. However, as a fighter in the x86 market, AMD's contribution to the CPU market can not be erased, benign competition can promote the development of the market, technology upgrading, review AMD walked ...

The data center has never been so urgent about standards and openness as it is today. 　　In the past, we talked about data centers, more focused on energy efficiency, manageability, green energy, and other key points, looking forward to a fixed room to build a perfect and long-term effective IT infrastructure. But today is the era of cloud computing. This "Cloud" change from the architecture itself to subvert the traditional sense of it, people are again aware of the original for computing, network, storage and other resources can also be used as electricity to use them. Cloud computing brings new requirements for the data center ...

In most IT organizations, virtual servers are backed up in the same way as physical servers in the early stages, but as the number of virtual servers increases, traditional backup methods start to get out of place. 　　In fact, many virtual machines (VMS) reside on a single physical machine and pose many challenges, which do not exist when a separate backup to a physical server exists. Multiple virtual opportunities compete for resources such as processes, storage, and networks, which are the biggest challenges to data protection for virtual servers. Parallel backup jobs for multiple virtual machines can seriously affect the nature of applications deployed on these virtual machines ...

IBM's secrecy has added to Power7+ 's mystery. Previously, we have articles that power 7+ will likely be launched during the year. 　　But now we look at the information from foreign media, I am afraid it is far from that simple. It is clear that IBM is intent on continually strengthening and upgrading its power system product line. 　　Last week IBM also announced that the latest entry-level power 710, 720, 730, and 740 servers could support higher memory and faster I/O, but were evasive about when the power7+ was launched. Today's cloud computing boom is overwhelming, and in terms of storage, the demand for storage from cloud services can often be divided into two areas. On the one hand, performance is a key requirement, especially for cloud computing architectures. On the other hand, cost effective storage is also critical, which is often required by the cloud storage architecture. Both aspects require the ability to extend support for thousands of users and petabytes of storage. Cluster NAS architectures and clouds have almost become synonymous with clusters that can meet this expansion requirement. There are two kinds of clustering methods, tight binding and loose binding, and these two methods are in cloud storage ...
