019 # Set attributes of materials and products in the adempiere System

There are often no attribute instances and materials and products with attribute instances in the warehouse storage. In order to facilitate the warehouse management personnel to quickly identify materials and products, it is convenient to track and find their current information, it is necessary to set the unique invoicing information for some materials and products. Such as color, size, material, specification, supplier serial number and production batch number.

In the adempiere system, these attribute instances can first set basic attribute sets, such as colors, dimensions, materials, and specifications, before the materials and products are imported into the database (before purchase;

Secondly, when receiving the goods during the procurement process, we can add its unique supplier delivery serial number (delivery serial number) from the supplier );
