17th Section HTML style

A page or a site, there will be a lot of places to use the same number of text formats. It can be cumbersome to repeat these formats each time, so you can make them into an HTML style and use this style one at a time.

Click on the Laucher panel on the third icon on the left, or click on the menu bar window/html Styles, you can also use the shortcut key Ctrl+f7, pop-up HTML style panel.

There are already some preset HTML styles on the panel. To add a new style, click on the icon in the lower-right corner of the Panel and a dialog box pops up.

Some of the parameters on the dialog have been set by the Dreamweaver, which is based on the format of the paragraph in the Dreamweaver main window where your cursor is located. If you want to set these formats to an HTML style, just click OK. You can also click the Clear button in the lower-right corner of the dialog box to remove the set parameters and set them yourself.
The dialog box items are explained below.
Name is the name of this HTML style.
Apply to is the application scope of the HTML style setting. Select Selection, which, when used in the future, applies only to the selected text area at a time. Select paragraph, which, when used in the future, applies to the entire paragraph where the cursor is located.
When applying is set to apply, how to deal with the existing format within the scope of the application. Select Add to Axisting, which will be used in the future, with the formatting that the HTML style contains in the original format of the application area. Select Clear Existing, in future use, clears the application area's original formatting, and then applies the formatting that the HTML style contains.
Then the following are font, Size, color, and style. Font is a typeface, size is a font size, and color is the colour of the word. Style is some of the properties of the text, the "B" button is bold, the "I" button is italic, click the "Other ..." button to eject the marquee to select more text properties.
The paragraph attributes can be set at this time if paragraph is selected when the apply to is previously set. Format is text, alignment is the alignment of text.
When you click the OK button, the HTML style is set. If you are not satisfied, click the Clear button to erase all the settings just now and then reset again.

When the settings are complete, the HTML style name will appear in the HTML style panel, and you can use this HTML style later. To remove an HTML style, select the style with the mouse in the HTML style panel, and then click the icon at the bottom right of the panel. The first two HTML styles on the panel cannot be deleted because they have special uses.

Next comes the application of the style.
There are two ways to apply HTML styles. The first option is to select the box before the Apply button on the lower left of the HTML style panel, and then click a style directly to apply it. The second option is to uncheck the box before the Apply button on the left of the HTML style panel, click on a style when applied, and then click the Apply button.
The first HTML style on the panel is to clear all formatting from the selected area, and the second HTML style is to erase all formatting from the entire paragraph where the cursor is located.
