1. Do not place all links in images
In the past, links on web pages were all text, and they were identified by underscores. But soon people hated these text links, so they all used image links. Later, I thought it was too troublesome to link an image. So I put all the links into an image. However, not all users load images. If you put all links in images without any text links of the same function, users may be overwhelmed.
2. Use auto-scroll with caution
I once visited a webpage with "rich" content. It uses many common website creation techniques: current time, access time, and so on. However, one of them is not very good, that is, automatic scrolling of the window. I just want to send an email to the webpage owner, but I cannot stop the scroll bar and ask me to click the link, so it took me a long time to "hit" the e-mail link in the window -- I really regret that I didn't practice shooting well during military training!
3. Do not use JavaScript with delayed effects
In order to make webpages more influential, the current web page makers are crazy about adding JavaScript. As for the speed of the current "cat" running, these scripts are nothing, and the user will not mind. However, if these scripts may cause latency, the user's attitude will be different.
The background color of the window when a Chinese web page is loaded --- there is no content in the window --- it takes several seconds to change from white to black! Don't underestimate these seconds. I can check all the mailboxes!
4. Do not rely on browsers
Too many websites include texts such as "please use IE browser to browse this website at 800 × 600 resolution" on the homepage. I have installed IE, NC, and Opera, because I want to create web pages and need them to verify the readability of web pages in these browsers. However, users generally do not install so many browsers, and do not even remember which browser is used to browse websites.
It may be impossible for a web page to have the same effect in all browsers, but try to achieve this goal, it will make the web page have such characteristics in this browser and different characteristics in another browser. This is the work of the web page maker, isn't it?
5. Do not forget the copyright
At present, the problem of infringement of intellectual property rights on the internet is very rampant. Webpages on a free web page provider are especially serious-even pirated CDs are sold! For this reason, some new free personal web providers require users to submit detailed and authentic personal data during their application to prevent unexpected events.
Therefore, if your webpage needs to reference other people's things, you can either contact them for comments or explicitly indicate their copyright ownership. This is not redundant. This is the secret recipe for "longevity" on your webpage!
Of course, if you create your own images or articles, you have the right to declare that the copyright belongs to you!
6. Do not stay updated.
Many webpages on a personal website have been established a long time ago and have not been updated so far. Let alone this is a waste of public resources, the person who has visited these webpages is so lazy as the webpage owner. Do you think he will visit the webpage again?
