The previous chapter describes the origins of the seven elements in the enterprise and business model (EOM). Through these analyses, we can further understand the objectivity and scientificity of the formation of EOM. At the same time, we also learned that establishing an enterprise business model is to fundamentally solve various problems in enterprise information construction. So what exactly does Enterprise 7 mean? What is its definition?
1. Enterprise Resources
Enterprise resources refer to the conditions for an enterprise to engage in business activities. For example, the name, venue, capital, expected products and markets of an enterprise, enterprise ownership, enterprise organization structure, laws and regulations, external environment, and intangible assets. Resources here are not resources in a broad sense. They do not include human resources, customers that do not include enterprises, products designed by enterprises, corporate finance, or enterprise management.
Enterprise Resources are the conditions for the enterprise's business activities. Without such conditions, the Enterprise will not exist and the Enterprise will not be able to carry out normal business activities. Therefore, enterprise resources are the most basic elements in enterprise business activities.
The Enterprise Resources in ERP are much larger than those in EOM. Almost all enterprise elements can be included in enterprise resources. We will not comment on the advantages and disadvantages of resource abstraction such as ERP. We just want to say that the definition of Enterprise Resources in EOM is:
1) Strengthen the definition of professional enterprise resources and highlight the importance of Enterprise Resources.
2) highlight the modern enterprise business model, achieve the separation of human resources and enterprise resources, and achieve the separation of customer and enterprise resources. It is conducive to implementing a customer-centered, human resources-centered enterprise business model.
3) facilitates enterprise informatization, and facilitates specialization of conditions for enterprise business activities. It is easy to define, classify, and use enterprise resources. These will be later Article .
2. Enterprise Employees
An enterprise employee is the entity engaged in business activities, which is synonymous with human resources. In order to distinguish from enterprise resources, we chose the term "employee" instead of "human resources.
Use the definition of enterprise employees:
1) In addition to considering the differences from Human Resources, employees can better reflect the people-oriented philosophy of the company, team spirit, and affinity between employees.
2) pave the way for future business models. From the perspective of the development process of enterprise business model, enterprises should eventually return from customer-centric to employee-centric business model.
3) highlight the position and role of employees, so that enterprises are more aware of the importance of employee labor in business activities.
4) facilitate enterprise informatization. As an element of enterprise operation, enterprise employees are also an important element in enterprise informatization. For example, we can establish a Human Resource Management System to correspond to enterprise employees in EOM.
3. enterprise customers
Enterprise customers refer to users and initiators of enterprise products (services. Enterprise customers have created requirements (excluding the ability of enterprises to guide their own needs), and enterprise customers have purchased enterprise products (services ). Customers are the "food and clothing" of enterprises. The importance of customers is self-evident.
Enterprise Customer defined:
1) The importance of enterprise customers in enterprise operation determines that enterprise customers become the elements of enterprise operation.
2) The customer-centered modern enterprise business model is gradually being developed in China. Enterprises need to classify and enhance customer services to win more and better customers, ensure its market share.
3) Ease of informatization. As an element of enterprise operation, enterprise customers are also an important element in enterprise informatization. For example, we can establish a CRM system to meet the needs of enterprise management.
4. Enterprise Products
An enterprise product (service) is a product or service sold by an enterprise to an enterprise customer. Enterprise Products (services) are the media between enterprises and customers. Enterprises without products or services cannot be referred to as enterprises. We refer to different enterprises that produce identical or similar products as industries, and industries that produce completely different products (services) as cross industries.
Enterprise Product (service) Definition:
1) The importance of products (services) in enterprise operation determines that enterprise products (services) are the elements of enterprise operation.
2) in China, many enterprises are still in the product-centered business model. They are the purposes of enterprise operation to produce more and better products to meet customer requirements.
3) faced with thousands of enterprises and varied products, we cannot use a specific product to describe it. We can only use the term "product" to abstract the description. This abstraction is one of the characteristics of EOM.
4) Ease of informatization. As an element of enterprise operation, enterprise products are also an important element in Enterprise Informatization. We must learn to abstract products from various systems. For example, we can establish enterprise product information systems, to design, manufacture, and evaluate the product. Although many enterprises have many systems, they cannot know the total number of products and the benefits of each product. The absence of products as an important element of independence is an important issue in the informatization construction of many enterprises.
5. Enterprise Business
Enterprise business refers to the direct work performed by employees to complete product production. Enterprise Business has three features: the first is the work of enterprise employees, the second is the production of enterprise products (services), and the third is direct, not indirect. In this way, enterprise business definition does not include enterprise management, and does not include indirect work (such as financial work) of product production ).
Enterprise business definition:
1) how an enterprise produces its products determines the role of its business in its business operations.
2) differentiate enterprise management from other non-direct product production by definition, which is conducive to specialized business management of enterprises.
3) in the face of thousands of enterprises, different products, and a variety of product production work, we cannot use a specific work to explain, but only use the term "business" to abstract the description. This abstraction is one of the characteristics of EOM.
4) Ease of informatization. As an element of enterprise operation, enterprise business also plays an important role in enterprise informatization. Many systems in enterprises are basically specific business systems. They help employees implement products or services more easily and quickly. However, they do not abstract businesses into an independent height, so various business systems are spontaneous and out-of-order. This is also an important issue in the current informatization construction.
6. Enterprise Finance
Enterprise Finance refers to the organization, utilization, and management of funds in enterprise business activities. Any enterprise must have funds, and any enterprise is aiming to maximize profits. The role of enterprise finance is self-evident. Here, corporate finance is a big concept, including such concepts as corporate accounting.
Enterprise Financial definition:
1) it depends on the importance of enterprise finance.
2) It depends on the public finance of the enterprise. That is, every enterprise has its own financial work.
3) Ease of informatization. Enterprise Finance, as an element of enterprise operation, also plays an important role in enterprise informatization. In China, enterprise informatization is mostly started by financial software, and the degree of commercialization of financial software is also the highest. Facts also prove that enterprise finance is one of the elements of informatization.
7. Enterprise Management
Enterprise management refers to the management and decision-making activities made by managers at all levels to achieve the enterprise's business objectives. Enterprise management is crucial to the achievement of enterprise business goals. Some people have said that there will be nothing without management. It verifies the importance of enterprise management. Enterprise Management and Enterprise Management Work have their own characteristics. First, all management work is based on managers, and managers are classified from high to low. Second, management is mainly to ensure that the business of an enterprise can be normally carried out, but management is not the same as that of general business. It mainly takes into account that it is not the business itself, but how to organize, check, and supervise normal business development in the business process. In a certain sense, management is the work of people. Therefore, management is public. Third, from a macro perspective, enterprise management plays a role in grasping the future of the enterprise. The determination of the enterprise's business objectives, the enterprise's product direction and market direction, and the enterprise's human resource allocation are all major decisions of the enterprise. These decisions will influence the future of the enterprise.
Enterprise Management definition:
1) depends on the importance of enterprise management. Highlight enterprise management.
2) It depends on the public nature of enterprise management. Because any enterprise has enterprise management.
3) Ease of informatization. Enterprise Management is an advanced stage of Enterprise Informatization. Enterprise Management plays an increasingly important role in enterprise informatization. We can achieve modernization of enterprise management by establishing a MIS system. However, at present, the development of enterprise informatization in China is unbalanced, and many enterprises are still in the stage of establishing business systems. Many enterprises also integrate their business systems and management systems into one, so that management remains at a very low level. Therefore, it is a long journey to take the management information system as a relatively independent system.
