This article mainly introduces how to adjust the allocation of vrobuffer Buffer manually. What operations should we perform during configuration? This article will help you.
The vrobuffer maintains two Buffer pools: public buffers and interface buffers.
Adjust public buffers
Router1 # configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router1 (config) # buffers big initial 100
Router1 (config) # buffers big max-free 200
Router1 (config) # buffers big min-free 50
Router1 (config) # buffers big permanent 50
Router1 (config) # end
Router1 #
Adjust interface buffers
Router1 # configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router1 (config) # buffers Ethernet0 initialization 200
Router1 (config) # buffers Ethernet0 max-free 300
Router1 (config) # buffers Ethernet0 min-free 50
Router1 (config) # buffers Ethernet0 permanent 50
Router1 (config) # end
Router1 #
Note is not recommended for modification. If it is modified, we recommend that you first use the show buffers command to view the current buffer usage. After the adjustment, we recommend that you use show memory to view the memory usage.
