1. Open arccatalog and prepare for the operation (1) menu: Customize-> extensions.... In the displayed dialog box, check all the items in it. The actual usage should be geostatistical analyst, but it should be easy to remember and avoid subsequent errors. If you do not perform this step, the tool not licensed error will be reported later.
(2) In this example, the data source uses the worldcities data that comes with ArcGIS and has been imported to the database. The steps for using data files are similar to those in this example and are not listed separately. 2. Create a model
Open the menu in arccatalog: geoprocessing-> modelbuilder
(1) Add a data source
Click menu: insert-> "add data or tool..." select database connections, select the created connection, open the world map, select cities, and click Add.
As shown in the following figure.
(2) Add a RBF interpolation tool
Choose Insert> "insert data or tool...". In the displayed dialog box, choose toolboxes> system toolboxes> geostatistical analyst tools. tbx> interpolation.
Select radial basis functions and click Add.
Drag in modelbuilder to hide the previously added data. The result is as follows:
(3) Add the GA layer to contour Tool
Menu: insert-> "add data or tool...", go to the directory: toolboxes-> system toolboxes-> geostatistical analyst tools. tbx-> working with geostatistical Layers
Select ga layer to contour and click Add.
In modelbuilder, drag the newly added tool to the right to get:
(4) use the connect tool, as shown in the red box. Click it.
1) connect to radial basis functions from gisdb. Sde. Cities and select input features
2) double-click the output geostatistical layer and fill in the path and file name to save without a suffix. 3) use the connect tool to connect to the GA layer to contour tool from the tempoutput in the previous step. 4) double-click gisdb. Sde. galayerto1_1 on the rightmost side and save it to the file, as shown in figure
5) Right-click gisdb. Sde. Cities and select modelparameter. Step 2 is complete: 3. Save to Toolbox menu: Model-> Save
Go to mytoolboxes, click "new toolbox" in the red box in the upper right corner, and create a custom toolbox. tbx double-click Export toolbox. enter the newly created tool folder in tbx and name and save the new tool. The example here is test1_model.
4. Run the newly created Tool
In arccatalog, double-click the newly created tool in the catalog tree, as shown in:
Click OK in the displayed dialog box. Wait until the execution is completed and close.
6. Check the work results.
Open the worldcities. mxd file with ArcMAP, and drag contouroutput. SHP to the table of contents on the left side of ArcMap. Pay attention to dragging it to the top of the cities, so as to act as the top layer of the layer so as not to be displayed. The result is as follows:
