2. Generate DDR2 package steps

First find the datasheet Document of Micron technology company's mt47h series DDR2 on the network , showing the size of 1Gb: x16 84-ball FBGA package. The package dimensions are described in detail in the documentation.

Open LP Wizard 10.3.2, click the Calculate menu, select the SMD Calculator in the drop-down menu, eject the Component Encapsulation selection screen.

Note: Select the interface for the component encapsulation.

Select the BGA package unit and click OK. Popup Package parameter setting interface. The wizard option in the menu bar is grayscale and not available until the parameter is set.

Based on the encapsulation information in the datasheet document, enter the parameter into the corresponding input box, type the ENTER key at the end, and the Wizard option is activated when the package image is generated.

DDR2 's datasheet document only has 84 BGA balls, but there are 135, so we also have to do some of the BGA ball removal work. Select Pins on the toolbar to select the BGA ball you want to delete (you can click to select multiple objects and pull a selection box to select an object in a range), right-click and select the Delete selected option to delete it.

After doing this, click the wizard option on the toolbar to eject the Land Pattern Wizard dialog box.

Choose your own tools, such as Allegro in the CAD tool drop-down box, the Settings section will pop up, choose your own version and the Footprints ' storage path, and click the Create and Close button to automatically generate the Allegro package.
