3 Deploying the AD environment

3.1 Configuring virtual network DNS server registration

Configure DNS, go to the portal, virtual network, select the virtual network you just created, configure the page, enter the DNS name and address, click Save, reboot all the VMS have completed the modification.

3.2 Deployment of adds services

In Manage portal, select RDSDC, click on the link below to enter the system

In the Remote Desktop dialog box that appears, enter the user name and password to log on to the system.

In the upper-right corner of Service Manager, select Manage---add roles and Features

Skip the Start page directly, select Role and feature installation on the installation Type page, next

On the Server Selection page, tick the server that selected the server pool

On the features page directly next, on the adds page directly next, on the DNS page directly next

On the confirmation page, you can choose to restart automatically and click Install to complete the installation.

After the role installation is complete, we need to complete the deployment of adds and DNS, in the service management will appear a small triangle, select click Upgrade Server as a domain controller

On the Configuration Options page, select Add a New Forest, enter the root domain name, next

On the Domain Controller Options page, select the domain and forest functional level (if there is a lower version of the member server in the environment, it is recommended to select the functional level of 2008 or 2008R2), enter the recovery mode password, next

On the DNS page, ignore the warnings that appear, direct the next step, and in the subsequent dialogs, go directly to the next step until the deployment is complete, and the VMS will automatically restart and wait for completion.

3.3 Creating an RDS administrator user

Server Manager in DC opens Active Directory Users and groups, new user

Enter the user display name and login name, next enter the password, remove the first login Change Password option, complete the creation.

Click the user you just created, right-click to join the group, and add the user to the Domain Admins group

Next, you need to add additional VMS to the domain

Remotely connect to other VMS, right-click on the computer, select Properties, select Advanced System settings, select the Computer Name page, click Edit, tick the domain, enter the domain name to join, click OK, enter the domain user you just created, OK, restart the VM full domain join action.

Continue with other VMS joined to the current, completed domain deployment.

4 Deploying RDS

4.1 Creating a shared disk

the shared storage for the user profile store is prepared first, as Azure VMs of the D The disk is a cache disk, the data is lost after reboot, so we take the data disk to Mount File Server .

Enter Portal , select the virtual machine, Select File Server , click Attach below, attach an empty disk

Confirm Store Save location, enter disk name (can remain unchanged by default), enter disk size

Note: maximum per disk 1T , the number of disks is calculated by the number of cores, 2 Block / core, multiple disks can be configured Raid , improve disk IO
